Dear Student,

  • Contribute to human services education and practice
  • Travel to exciting cities
  • Form lasting relationships

The Midwest Central Region of the National Organization for Human Services continues to make great strides in its contribution to students through its annual regional conferences. These conferences provide the opportunity for students to link with other students throughout the region, to meet educators and practitioners from various learning institutions and agencies to learn new concepts and practice in the field.

Economic indicators suggest that the field of human service education continues to grow on a broad scale. The service industry, particularly the human service occupations and health care occupations, reflect the most growth as there is a continuing increase in the demand for qualified service providers. Those who become members of NOHS and become active at MWOHS can be assured to increase their knowledge of human services development, group dynamics, and organizational practices. Students of human service programs are the future providers of America. You will impact the lives of those in need and help to ensure the future of our communities.

If you are seeking an additional avenue to enhance your academic and career goals, I urge you to become an active participant at MWOHS. Tell others about us and encourage them to come aboard, also. We need you in the region and at the national level.
